Caravan & Trailer Plug 7-Pin, 12V (12N Type)
12 N type plugs are used for road lighting only. This is currently the most popular plug used for towing as it does the lighting on most trailers and caravans.

1--- Yellow - for left indicator going to pin No: 1 on the trailer plug/socket
2--- Blue- for rear fog lights going to pin No: 2 on the trailer plug/socket
3--- White- the Earth cable going to pin No: 3 on the trailer plug/socket
4--- Green- right indicator going to pin No: 4 on the trailer plug/socket
5--- Brown- for right hand/off side side lights/number plate light going to pin No: 5 on the trailer plug/socket
6--- Red- for brake lights going to pin No: 6 on the trailer plug/socket
7--- Black- for left hand/ near side side lights/ number plate light going to pin No: 7 on the trailer plug/socket
