Genuine Stihl part especially designed for easily confirming the pitch and gauge of your chainsaw chain
Easy to use
The chain pitch is easily confirmed by holding the chain in the air and putting the gauge between 2 links
The chain gauge is easily confirmed by taking a link and pushing it into each centre slot and then moving it forwards and backwards to see how tight it fits
This simulates it in the guide bar, if it fits in more than one, then choose the one that doesn't feel very tight or has too much play is correct size
Note! If you're still not sure which chain pitch & or gauge you have, please contact the sales office with the following information;
1) Anything stamped into the drive links, e.g. 1B, 91, 22
2) What make and model the chainsaw chain is fitted too
